Breakfast is an important feature at Market Cross. Served in the pine-furnished dining room Jill and John offer traditional breakfast fayre including "Bamburgh Bangers" award winning local sausage, and the famous Craster kippers. The extensive menu includes vegetarian choices, healthy options, and a huge choice of delicious breakfast dishes that reflect the quality and diversity of local produce. Fish dishes are a speciality. In recognition of our efforts to promote excellent local food products we have been awarded the GOLD AWARD for our breakfast menu for 2 years running in September 2001 and December 2002. Jill and John were proud to be the first winners of this award beating entries from guest houses across north Northumberland and have continued their high standards by winning the gold award for a second year.
The "AA" has awarded our breakfast menu an "eggcup" indicating food excellence.

Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 9am in the dining room. If you need an early start special arrangements can be made. Guests with special dietary needs can easily be catered for - just ask Jill or John.
